Jai Hemant Shroff, better known as Tiger Shroff, is an Indian film actor and martial artist. He is the son of Bollywood veteran actor Jackie Shroff, and made his debut opposite Kriti Sanon in Sajid ..Tiger Shroff is an Indian actor popular in bollywood industry. He is the son of renowned Bollywood personality Jackie Shroff. He made his debut in Bollywood with 'Heropanti' starring Kriti Sanon. He went under training of martial arts, parkour, gymming and focussed on his body for 2 years before the debut and so did all the stunts by himself and did not used a body double. The popular actor will once again be seen working with producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Sabbir Khan in their upcoming film tentatively titled Baaghi. Tiger was born on 2 March, 1990 to Jackie Shroff and Ayesha Shroff. He chose his stage name to be 'Tiger', whereas his real name is Jai Hemant. He is a student of martial arts and has been practicing it from the age of four. He never had a keen interest in becoming an actor instead always wanted to become a football player but later was unable to see a better future in football and decided to focus on his acting career. He has completed his educational qualifications from American School of Bombay. He has one sibling, a sister Krishna Shroff three years younger to him. His maternal grandfather was Air Vice-Marshal, Ranjan Dutt and paternal grandparents were Kakubhai Shroff an astrologer and Rita Shroff an ethnic Turk. Actor Tiger Shroff will be seen in producer Sajid Nadiadwala's Baaghi. Baaghi, produced by Nadiadwala and UTV Motion Pictures, will be directed by Sabbir Khan. Tiger will be playing the role of Baaghi (rebel) in the movie opposite Shraddha Kapoor. The movie is slated to release on April 29, 2016. Imtiaz Ali's brother Sajid Ali will be doing a film on Laila Majnu by Balaji Motion Pictures. Ekta Kapoor has approached Tiger Shroff to play Majnu in the film. Aamir Khan and Jackie Chan had initially come together for an Indo-China film, Kung Fu Yoga but Aamir had to cop out. Tiger Shroff stepped into Aamir's shoes for Kung Fu Yoga. Tiger Shroff will soon be seen in an upcoming bollywood flick Flying Jatt, which is directed by Remo D'Souza and produced by Ekta Kapoor. Tiger Shroff will be seen opposite Jacqueline Fernandez in the film. Tiger will play the role of an energetic Punjabi superhero and Jacqueline Fernandez will be seen in the role of a sweet Bharatanatyam dancer. His superhero look has been compared by Hrithik's Krrish look. B-Town aspiring actor, Tiger idolises his father Jackie Shroff. He knows what his father went through for the past 35 years and how tough the journey is. Earlier Tiger was not ready to do the movie because he never wanted to be compared with his father, but later accepted the bitter truth of Bollywood. If latest reports are to be believed then, Tiger Shroff is dating an aspiring actress Disha Patani. The duo has often been spotted driving around Bandra and even go to the same gym for the workout. Tiger and Disha are spending some quality time together these days. Tiger has reportedly been mentoring Disha in dancing. Tiger Shroff follows the trademarks of his mother Ayesha Dutt a lot. His mother has also been a part of Bollywood films like Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hai, Boom and Grahan. Tiger is sensitive, diplomatic and a fitness freak who always love to hit the gym. Tiger will be more than happy if he is able to do only half of what his father has achieved. His sister Krishna Shroff also carries the personality traits of her mother and father. Tiger Shroff made debut with the flick Heropanti opposite Kriti Sanon. He has played the role of a young lover boy who belongs to a small town in North India. In his very first movie he got noticed for his action and dance performances, especially in the song 'Whistle Baja'.
