Nargis Fakhri is an American model and actress popular in bollywood. She has made her debut in bollywood with the movie Rockstar opposite Ranbir Kapoor. She has appeared on America's Next Top Model. She was seen in a special song in Shahid Kapoor's Phata Poster Nikla Hero. Fakhri was last seen in the movie Main Tera Hero opposite Varun Dhawan and Ileana D'cruz. Now she will be seen in upcoming movies like Azhar and Saahasam. Nargis Fakhri was born on 20 October, 1979 in Queens, New York, USA to a Pakistani father Mohammed A. Fakhri and a Czech mother Marie A. Fakhri. Nargis was featured in the 2009 Kingfisher swimsuit calendar. She was the first girl to be recalled twice on "America's Next Top Model" (2003) and also the first girl of Pakistan in the history of "America's Next Top Model" (2003). One of the key requirement for a Hindi film heroine is to get her 'naach gaana' in place and so Nargis is looking forward to hitting the floors. She likes to play Tennis, volleyball and soccer in free time to keep body fit and fabulous. Nargis Fakhri will soon be seen opposite Riteish Deshmukh in the upcoming flick Banjo. She will play an NRI coming from America in the movie. The film marks the Hindi film debut of popular Marathi director Ravi Jadhav, who has made popular films such as Natarang, Balak-Palak, Timepass among others. The film traces the story of banjo players from Maharashtra. Nargis mother is Czech and her father is of Pakistani origin. She has one sister Aliya Fakhri. Her parents were divorced, when she was six or seven years old. Housefull 3 is an upcoming Indian comedy film written and directed by director duo Sajid-Farhad and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It is the sequel to 2012 comedy film Housefull and the third installment of the Housefull film series. It stars Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon in the lead roes. Nargis made her Bollywood film debut in Imtiaz Ali's musical romantic drama Rockstar in 2011. She starred opposite John Abraham in Shoojit Sircar's political thriller Madras Cafe (2013). In 2014, Fakhri appeared alongside Varun Dhawan and Ileana D'Cruz in David Dhawan's comedy Main Tera Hero. The film was a financial success, but received mixed reviews from critics. 

Nargis was invited on the Board of Advisors for the MindShare Ventures Group, a New York City-based company that dwells in several business areas, including fashion, tech, healthcare, commodities, real estate and entertainment by Founder and Chairman, Ali Naqvi. She advises on Hollywood and Bollywood entertainment related business. According to the latest reports, Nargis Fakhri is now on board for Mohammed Azharuddin biopic. The makers of the biopic have signed her to play Azaruddin's second wife Sangeeta Bijlani in the film. The movie is produced by Ekta Kapoor and will star Emraan Hashmi and Prachi Desai as Azharuddin's first wife Naureen. Nargis Fakhri is quite unhappy and sad about her numerous link-up rumors with Bollywood actors and businessmen. According to the reports she was linked up earlier with Shahid Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. Her latest alleged link up is with actor Uday Chopra. Nargis is known for her fit body and her favourite hobbies include cooking, meditation and yoga. The cute actress never misses an opportunity to talk about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. She is quite a health freak who has started sharing fitness tips with her fans on Twitter. Nargis said "A healthy lifestyle is not just about working out and looking good. It is about positive mental attitude, healthy food choices and participating in activities you enjoy." Her father was a Pakistani and her mother was a Czech. Her parents got divorced during the time when Nargis was hardly 6 or 7 years of age. This actress and American model’s interests lies in yoga, meditation and in cooking.
In the year 2004, she made an appearance in America’s Next Top Model (in Cycle 2 and Cylce 3). Five years later in the year 2009, Nargis even appeared on the renowned Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar.
In 2011, Nargis stepped into the Bollywood film industry. She signed up for the 2011 film titled ‘Rockstar’, directed by Imtiaz Ali. This film had Ranbir Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor,Moufid Aziz, Shernaz Patel, Aditi Rao Hydari, Piyush Mishra and Nargis Fakhri in its cast. This film was a big hit at the box theatre and both Nargis and Ranbir were awarded the most coveted IIFA Hottest Pair of the Year Award, at the 13th IIFA award ceremony.
Presently Nargis joined hands with Akshay Kumar’s production company (Hari Om Productions) for a three film contract.
One of her upcoming projects include an Indian political thriller called ‘Madras Café’, directed by ShoojitSircar and starring Nargis Fakhri, John Abraham, Leena Mari, SainathDukkipati and ShitalMalhar. Here Nargis would be playing the female lead role of that of an international reporter.
